What is a line proposal

After taking many photographs of lines found in the environment, I decided to use the photographs of trees and produce line drawings from the patterns of the branches. I have also been looking at maps and all the lines found on those. After getting positive feedback from my crit, I have decided to take both themes further and gather more secondary research and take more tree photographs. I am going to produce more illustrations from them and involve them in a journey somehow, as the patterns themselves look like a map of lines filling the page.

It was suggested that I look at the work shown below, which has really inspired me and helped me build on my ideas.
