David Foldvari

After deciding that I definitely wanted to go down the illustrative route with this project, I was advised to look at David's work, who uses mainly black and white to produce very defined, strong illustrations. They often portray alienation, identity and belonging - issues that stand out and match his work. He sometimes introduces bits of colour into the images highlighting the importance of the object or person. I find this limited palette and simple design style very effective and inspiring.
