Recognition day 2009

When I got this brief I immediately decided I wanted to work with type and remind and persuade others about the importance of the little things in life. I did a questionnaire, asking what people have appreciated that day and who they want to say thank you to for their good manners or kind gestures. I then decided to find existing quotes that got the message across, and use those as my concept for the postcard message. Here are some of my ideas, playing around with type, layout and colour:
